Part of being a student at UNSW College means an obligation to comply with UNSW conditions of enrolment. This includes making sure your contact details are up to date, including emergency contact information.
This is very important as we consider your safety to be our utmost priority, so that when things go south and your guardian needs to be contacted, we have a way to reach them.
For Academic English Program and Foundation Studies Students:
In the Student Portal, login with your GID and click on “Edit My Details” and “Emergency Contact” under the “My Details” tab. Fill in any empty fields, and update any other information as required. Ensure you click the yellow “Save” button on the top-right corner of the page when you are done.
A frequently asked question from students: In your My Details tab, Domestic Contact Details are considered to be your details in Australia. Overseas Contact Details are considered to be your details in your home country.
For Diploma Students:
You can updated contact details on myUNSW. To update, please go to the “Personal Details” section of myUNSW, then select the information you would like to update: Address, Phone, Email, Emergency Contact and Personal Statistics.
