What is a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT)?
A Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) is designed to quickly detect if you have caught COVID-19.
These tests are called “rapid” because they can provide results in a relatively short amount of time, typically within 15 to 30 minutes, and are available for purchase at pharmacies and supermarkets.
It’s recommended that you do a RAT if you have any COVID-19 symptoms.
