Hello Students,

This opportunity is open to active College Volunteers only. If you would like to become a part of the Council, please sign up to be a volunteer first and show us your enthusiasm for contributing and making a change at UNSW College.

Please note that you can only apply to ONE opportunity at any given time. Therefore, if you are applying to be part of the SRC you cannot apply to be an intern, and if you are applying to be an intern you cannot apply to be part of the SRC.

We are on the lookout for some eager and active volunteers to step up and join the Student Representative Council (SRC) – could you be who we are looking for?

Established in 2022, the SRC is comprised of 8 Student Councillors and 1 Head of SRC, and they have a responsibility to strengthen student voice, build community, and create lasting change for future students. This “by students for students” structure has allowed for a transformation of your university experience to be increasingly modernised, relatable, character building and most importantly fun for the entire student body.

Valentine’s Day letter confessions of love and friendship, Eid al-Fitr during golden hour and the bustling Cultural Festival with food stalls and performances are just some of the wonderful and interactive events that the SRC help to organise as they strive to create a harmonious balance between the students’ academic and social lives.

With students leading the way to make changes for current and future students, they can implement events and processes that will have the most positive impact. The SRC strives to hear the opinions and voices of their peers, and relay them to staff in order to continually kaizen how we provide services on and off campus.
