As the temperature drops and the chilly breeze kicks in, it can create an ideal environment for the flu virus to spread.
Furthermore, cold temperatures may weaken the immune system’s ability to respond to respiratory viruses, making it easier to catch an infection.
Therefore, it is even more important for us to prioritise our health and wellbeing during this time. One essential step we can all take to safeguard ourselves and our campus community is by getting vaccinated against the flu.
Vaccinations will take place right here on campus at Room G07 in the L5 Building on Tuesday 28 and Thursday 30 May.
Due to the high demand of this service, bookings are essential.
