Can you believe the student magazine was first hitting inboxes around this time last year?
It’s hard to believe, but here we are – the final edition of In The Know for 2024, and what a year it’s been! From launching UNSW College’s very first student magazine in 2023, to now celebrating a whole year of incredible content, we’ve truly come full circle.
Happy one-year anniversary to us!
As we are coming closer and closer to the end of another marvellous year, we’ve pulled out all the stops to bring you the best of the best in our “Festive Edition”!
This issue features a spectacular showcase of photography from the talented members of the Photography Club. Trust us when we say that when you flip through these pages, it’s like being transported to a whole new world. Each photo is more than just an image; it’s a snapshot of the creativity and passion of our College community, capturing the fleeting moments and stories of everyday life.
But that’s not all! We’re also thrilled to feature an insightful article from Fiskin Sears, one of our beloved College teachers, who dives into why replying with “nothing special” should be a thing of the past. There should never be “nothing special” about your time at College – or your time in Sydney, for that matter. After all, every moment here is an opportunity to learn, grow, and experience something unique (we couldn’t agree more!)
There is also not one, but TWO articles from our fantastic THRIVE student interns. First, they’ll share their tips on how to enjoy summer to the fullest while staying safe and healthy. Then, they’ll explore the joys and rewards of volunteering during the holidays, and how giving your time to others can create lasting connections and memories. It’s all about making the most of your summer, and we’re sure their advice will inspire you to get involved.
We also want to take a moment to say thank you for your support throughout 2024. The team behind In The Know has had an absolute blast bringing you fresh, engaging content every month, and we’re incredibly excited about what 2025 will bring. So, stay tuned for more fun and thought-provoking articles, stories, and insights that are sure to make next year even better.
