International Women’s Day (IWD) is observed annually on 8 March to celebrate the political, cultural, economic, and social achievements of women, and to advocate for gender equality. In 2025, the global theme is:
For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.
What’s on at UNSW College
UNSW College invites you to explore the L5 Courtyard and Student Common Room, where displays will highlight trailblazing women and their remarkable contributions to society. We also encourage you to share a short note about a woman who has influenced your life—be it a family member, friend, or public figure—on our tribute board.
