Wednesday 8th March is International Women’s Day (IWD), a global day celebrating the political, cultural, economic and social accomplishments of women, as well as promoting the importance of gender equality. UNSW is taking on the United Nations’ theme for 2023:
Cracking the Code: Innovation for a gender equal future
IWD is observed annually on 8 March. Every year the day is focused around a certain idea, and this year’s theme call attention to the role that accessible education and inclusive technologies play in addressing and alleviating the marginalisation of women globally.
