Safer Internet Day is held annually on February 6, as a global initiative to raise awareness surrounding online safety issues. In Australia, the initiative is led by the eSafety Commissioner.
This year’s theme is ‘Connect. Reflect. Protect.’ It encourages the community to:
Connect safely by keeping apps and devices secure and reviewing your privacy settings regularly.
Reflect on how your actions online may affect others or your safety.
