The aim of Talk and Talk is to encourage discussion, apply critical thinking, and build communication skills in English among students. Every session will revolve around a different topic chosen by the SRC, which could range from light-hearted and fun to more relevant issues facing our community. The only way to discover what is on the agenda each time is to attend!
Then, students will be divided into two sides: for and against and a few representatives from each side will be selected to participate in a more formal discussion. This is an invaluable opportunity to practice English in a safe and friendly environment, and for those who feel more shy, it is equally important to listen and learn how to articulate ideas from fellow peers.
