World Cancer Day is held annually on February 4, a global awareness day led by the Union for International Cancer Control. This year’s theme is ‘Close the Care Gap’, which focuses on ensuring leaders are aware of the demand to a commitment to prioritising cancer in order to achieve a just and cancer-free world.
Staff from the Cancer Council will also join us so come and learn about cancer prevention and see the support services available both for those with cancer and those supporting someone with cancer.
