Welcome to the Account Activation for UNSW College Transnational Education (TNE) English students. These instructions cover the steps needed to activate your accounts.

Welcome to UNSW Global!

The first thing you need to do is activate your UNSW Global student account.

All students enrolled in the UNSW Foundation Studies Program will be allocated a Global Identity Number called a gID ("G" is short for "Global", and "ID" is short for "Identification"). The format of the ID is the letter G followed by six digits: G1234563. Every student is allocated a unique ID upon enrolment.

Read the instructions carefully and come back to this page to read again any step if you have trouble. Follow the instructions carefully and you will activate your gID successfully.

Moodle is a Learning management System ("LMS") provided for students. Moodle is used for many, although not all Institute of Languages courses. While each Institute of Languages Moodle course will contain different resources, it is always your responsibility to check Moodle regularly for announcements, resources, assessment advice and activities.

Logging onto Moodle

To access Moodle, use the Institute of Languages "Moodle" link
Then log on using your UNSW College G-ID and password.
