National Student Ombudsman (NSO) – Tips for making a complaint
This tip sheet:
- explains the general differences between a formal and informal process,
- provides some helpful tips when making a complaint and,
- recommends the information students should record to support their complaint.
As an escalated complaint’s function, the NSO is keen to help all higher education students, including higher education international students to engage with the provider’s complaints processes before coming to the NSO.
