We at UNSW College believe that maintaining our personal wellbeing is important not only for ourselves, but for each other to stay healthy and COVID-safe.
Important reminders
š Are you feeling ill? If you are unwell, have any respiratory symptoms or have tested positive to COVID-19, please do not come to campus. Take the time you need to recover. See here for what to do if you test positive to COVID-19.
š· Consider wearing a mask while indoors on-campus or on public transport. Whilst not mandatory, mask-wearing is a great defence against COVID-19 and is strongly encouraged.
š Remember to advise your teacher and submit an Explanation of Absence (EOA) Form if you miss any classes. If you miss any assessments, quizzes, labs or exams due to illness, you are required to fill in a Request for Special Consideration Form. All the forms can be found on this page.
š©āāļø Where can you find a general practitioner (GP)? The UNSW Health Service offers face-to-face appointments and telehealth appointments to all students. You are able to make an appointment here. You can also find other GPs and health services on this page. Do not forget to get your medical certificate from your GP! It can be used for your supporting documents when you submit your EOA Form and Request for Special Consideration Form.
š Where can you get vaccinations?
- Are you up to date on your COVID-19 vaccinations? Get your next booster now if you have not already done so. Book an appointment with the UNSW Health Service for your booster shot.
- As winter approaches, students are encouraged to have a flu vaccine. These are now available at the UNSW Health Service and are free for all UNSW students.
- Are you thinking about getting other vaccinations? You can find more related information here.
ā¤ļø Remember to look after your wellbeing. You can make an appointment with one of ourĀ friendly Student Wellbeing Advisers for support on a range of topics or to connect with additional services.
