This workshop is all about learning the Australian slang and how it can help you understand and communicate better with Australians during your stay and study. Australian slang, known as “Strine”, is a way of using certain words and phrases that have become iconic to Australians.
You may find that Australians tend to speak quickly and have an unusual way of pronouncing words. We’ll be reviewing many Aussie slang expressions and discussing strategies for dealing with Aussie slang.
