How to Help a Friend Training is free and delivered by students for students. It breaks down the simple steps you need to take to notice the signs that someone is struggling, gives you tips on how to reach out and what actions you can take to help.
By attending this training session, you will be able to increase your confidence in:
- Identifying the ‘red flags’ that another student may be experiencing a mental health concern,
- Reaching out and checking-in with a friend/peer and,
- Providing information about available UNSW support services for students.
