That is when you can turn to UNSW Mental Health Connect. They can help you locate the specific support service you need, and offer it face to face, or online. Rest assured that all contact with Mental Health Connect will be strictly confidential.

First time client

Mental Health Connect is available to all currently enrolled UNSW students.

To access this service, complete this online confidential form and a clinician will contact you within 24 hours of submitting the form to discuss your circumstances in more detail.

Existing/returning client

If you are an existing client and have made an appointment with UNSW Psychology and Wellness within the past 6 months, you can book your next appointment or change the time of an upcoming appointment.

Furthermore, we also offer support to students in the L5 Building with our professional Student Wellbeing Advisers. You can make an appointment online to see an adviser whenever it suits your timetable and they offer in person or online consultations.

How much does it cost?

Appointments are scheduled to last around 30 minutes. We will ask you some questions to help work out what might help. We always work with you as an individual and will always treat you with respect.

Depending on your circumstances and only with your consent, you may be referred to other services at UNSW or support in your local area. We always provide students with a clear plan for next steps.
