What happens next after viewing your final results on the Student Portal?
After checking your final results, it is important to understand what steps to take depending on your study goals and final results.
Make sure to check your results against your original offer letter. You can also view the English language requirements here.
Below are the options that are available to you. And don’t forget to refer to the key dates below.
If You Achieve And Meet Your UNSW Entry Requirement
- Accept your UNSW offer ASAP and enrol in classes immediately.

How to enrol in UNSW courses
Do this as soon as you get your offer as classes fill up quickly – enrol here.

- Follow your Faculty Progression Plan and your personal offer letter
- If you achieve UNSW Entry Requirement but want to change program, please submit an enquiry to UNSW Admissions.
If You Fail To Meet Your UNSW Entry Requirement – Want to change to a program with lower English requirement
- Search the UNSW degree finder to find a lower English requirement degree that interests you.
- Then submit your degree change enquiry to UNSW Admissions.
IMPORTANT
If you change your UNSW degree to a lower English entry degree after your results,
- Enrolment into UNSW degrees will remain open however classes for those popular degrees and lower English entry degrees can fill up quickly and you may miss out on being able to enrol in some classes.
- UNSW will honour conditional offers for UEEC students so if you defer your UNSW offer to repeat UEEC, you will be able to enter your preferred UNSW degree in the next intake.
If you change your program, or did not pay a deposit to UNSW you will need to accept your offer manually.
- You will need to print your offer, sign it, scan it, upload it together with confirmation of fee payment to UNSW Admissions.
- Once received, UNSW Admissions will process your offer.
- Then you will receive a link to “Accept Part 2” and start your enrolment into classes
Manual acceptance deadline is by 4pm on Friday 6 September 2024.
Checklists will be opened for you to upload via your Apply Online account.
- UNSW Acceptance and Reply Form.
- Declaration of Consent for International Students Form.
- Proof of payment of the deposit fee.
Deposit payment receipts must include the following details, otherwise UNSW Admissions will need to wait for the deposit to arrive in the UNSW account to confirm your enrolment and issue your eCoE (electronic Confirmation of Enrolment) document.
- Student name or student ID.
- Payment amount.
- Evidence that the payment is for UNSW

Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS)
You can also check out Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) that offers free, weekly, out-of-class study sessions to undergraduate students in targeted courses. The sessions are facilitated by friendly senior students who have successfully completed the course. Check your faculty’s sessions on the PASS website.
