This week is Neurodiversity Celebration Week, which aims to foster understanding and appreciation for the diverse ways in which people’s brains function, including those with conditions such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other neurological differences.
By celebrating neurodiversity, we recognise that these differences are not deficits but rather represent unique strengths and perspectives that contribute to the richness of human experience. No two individuals are the same, and every neurodivergent person has a unique pattern of strengths and challenges.
On Wednesday 19 March from 3pm until 3:30pm in the Level 1 Courtyard of the L5 Building, we are hosting AccessibiliTEA. If you are a student with neurodivergence or living with a physical/mental health condition that impacts your studies, you can speak to one of our Student Wellbeing Advisers, who can explain what support is available to you. You can also hear about the steps involved in applying for support as well as our Equitable Learning Services (ELS).
