Where to find printers on campus

At UNSW College, students have access to a range of convenient printing options to support their academic needs.

Whether you require printing for assignments, study materials, or important documents, there are simple and cost-effective solutions available both at the UNSW College L5 Building and on the UNSW Sydney main campus.

Printing services at UNSW College L5 Building

For students looking to print A4 black and white documents, the UNSW College L5 Building offers free printing services. This option is available for students with a windows computer or a USB stick, making it ideal for those who need to print basic documents quickly and without cost.

Here is how you can access the service:

Option 1:
Connect your laptop or device to the “DIRECT-77-HP Student Hub Printer” through your device settings and print wirelessly. Detailed instructions with images are also displayed next to the printer for your convenience.

Option 2:
Use a USB stick. Simply plug it into the printer, select “Print from USB Drive” on the printer screen, and choose your file.

Printing services on UNSW Sydney Campus

For Pre-Masters, Diploma, and Academic English Program students with an active zID and a UNSW Sydney-issued ID card needing colour printing, larger formats, or other advanced printing services, the UNSW Sydney main campus provides more options.

You can print from any device wirelessly or via USB, with costs depending on the specific service.

Here is a quick snapshot of printing costs:

  • A4 Black and white: Starting from $0.11 per page
  • A4 Colour: Starting from $0.50 per page

Important information

A reminder that accessing the printers on the main UNSW Sydney campus are available only to Pre-Masters, Diploma, and Academic English Program students with an active zID and a UNSW Sydney-issued ID card.

Students who only have a gID and all Foundation Studies can only utilise the printers at the UNSW College L5 Building.
