Exam Locations & Maps

During your studies, your exams may be held at one of three locations: UNSW College, UNSW Sydney, or the Royal Randwick Racecourse.

We recommend an arrival time of 15 minutes early to the scheduled exams start time so you can locate the exam room.

UNSW College

Many exams are held at the UNSW College L5 Building and are commonly held on the Lower Ground (LG) or Ground (G) levels.

UNSW Sydney

Some exams may be scheduled in buildings over at the UNSW Sydney Kensington campus.

Many buildings can also be found via Google Maps.

Royal Randwick Racecourse

Some larger exams may be held at the Royal Randwick Racecourse, which is located a short distance from the Kensington campus.

Getting there:

• Light rail: Take the L2 Light Rail and get off at the Royal Randwick stop. The racecourse is a short walk from the station.
• Bus: The following regular buses travel to Royal Randwick Racecourse and make stops along Anzac Parade and Alison Road: 339, 373, 374 & 396. Use the Trip Planner for the most up-to-date information on services and times.

• Walking: It is approximately a 15–20 minute walk from the UNSW Sydney campus.

As this venue is not on campus, make sure you plan your route in advance and allow additional travel time.
