Our team can provide you with local advice and resources to help you navigate the housing market, and find your Sydney home. We want to support your wellbeing and help you to have a positive housing experience whilst studying at UNSW College.

There are lots of accommodation options in Sydney. Below are some short-term and long-term options.
Homestays
With homestay, you can rent a private room in a family’s house. Rent is paid upfront and there is an application fee which is approximately $350–$450. Meals and bills are included in homestay and the below options are all approved for Under 18 Students.

You can rent an apartment or house with different options such as a studio, 1–2 bedroom, etc.
Purpose-built student accommodation
These accommodation options are managed by private student accommodation providers off-campus:

- Scape Darling House, Scape Darling Square and Scape Kingsford are approved for Under 18 students.
- Iglu
- Iglu Central and Iglu Redfern are approved for Under 18 students.

Share houses
Share housing involves living with others in a house or an apartment. Students are advised to inspect the accommodation and make their own assessment of the information provided.
