Our campus offers a vibrant range of spaces that support every aspect of student life from focused study to social connection. Students can take advantage of modern learning commons equipped with collaborative work areas and quiet zones, printers, comfortable lounges for relaxing between classes, as well as the outdoor courtyard as a popular area to recharge.

Ground Floor

Student Lounge

Location:

Room G08

The Student Lounge is your dedicated chill-out zone that is perfect for unwinding, working on assignments, or just hanging out. 

 

Opening Hours:

It is open daily from Monday to Friday, 8am – 7pm.


Prayer Room

Location: Room G25

The Prayer Room is your dedicated space for prayer. It is open to students of all faiths, offering a quiet and welcoming environment for reflection and spiritual practice.

 

Opening Hours:

It is open daily from Monday to Friday, 7am – 7pm.

For Muslim students, we have a UNSW Sydney Muslim Student Guide available for you to read, and on the main UNSW Sydney campus, you can find more prayer rooms and religious spaces for you to utilise.

Level 1

Student Hub

Location:

Opposite Student Services, next to the wooden staircase.

The Student Hub is a collaborative study zone and also where the Study Club gathers.

Near to the entrance on the left hand side is also the Sensory Zone, to help students regulate their senses and is equipped with dim lighting, soft seating, and fidget toys.

 

Opening Hours:

It is open daily from Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 8pm.

 

Common Room

Location:

Located next to Student Services.

The Common Room is where you can grab a snack from the vending machines or heat up your food using the microwaves provided.

 

Opening Hours:

It is open daily from Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 6pm.

Printers on campus

At the UNSW College L5 Building, there are four printers available for students to use for paid printing via their zID accounts.

The printers are conveniently located in the Student Lounge (Room G08), Student Hub, Level 2 East Tower (far end), and Level 3 East Tower (far end) along with instructional signage on how to operate the printer.
