Account Activation for UNSW Foundation Studies
Get Set Up Orientation Guide
Step 1 : Activate your UNSW College student account (gID)
All students enrolled in the UNSW Foundation Studies Program will be allocated a Global Identity Number called a gID (“G” is short for “Global”, and “ID” is short for “Identification”)
Step 2 : Activate your UNSW student account (zID)
Follow the steps on this page to activate your Z-ID. Please follow the instructions on carefully.
Step 3 : Set up your Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)

Step 4 : Access. your Moodle account
Moodle is the main online learning and teaching system available to students enrolled at UNSW.
Step 5 : Activate your student email account
You have been issued a UNSW email account. It is important you use it to keep up to date with all messages from teachers, staff, and other students.
UNSW College delivers its Foundation Studies, Academic English, Diplomas, and Pre-Masters Program, under CRICOS Provider Code 01020K; TEQSA Provider ID: PRV13020 (Institute of Higher Education).
UNSW College delivers its Applied Degrees under TEQSA Provider ID: PRV13020 (Institute of Higher Education).
UNSW College also delivers UNSW Diplomas on behalf of UNSW Sydney under CRICOS Provider Code 00098G; UNSW Sydney TEQSA Provider ID: PRV12055 (Australian University).
