Lung Cancer Awareness month is an important time to deepen our understanding of one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers in Australia (Cancer Council NSW, 2025).  As symptoms can often go unnoticed in the early stages, increasing awareness and encouraging early detection can make a real difference.

Because when found early, over 65% of lung cancers can be successfully treated according to the National Lung Cancer Screening Program 2026: ‘It’s Good to Know’.
