Ground Floor

Student Lounge (Room G08)

A perfect space to relax or study in a casual setting. Bring your books, catch up on group projects, or chat quietly with friends.

Level 1

Student Hub

A dedicated quiet study area and home to the Study Club. This is the perfect place to focus on assignments or join Study Club sessions for peer-led academic support. You can also access the free printer here (only able to print in A4 and black and white).

Opposite the Student Enquiries Desk on Level 1

Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays: 5pm – 8pm

Common Room

The Common Room is the go-to place to heat up your meals and eat with your friends. You’ll find two vending machines, disposable cutlery, microwaves, sink and a tap to refill your water bottles with hot or cold water. To access hot water, hold down the red button on the tap (instructions are provided at the sink).

Make sure to check out the noticeboard which has an ever-changing rotation of posters with lots of information about a range of services and events on campus.

Toilets & Lift Access

Available on all levels, including inside the Student Hub, Common Room, near the East Tower Level 1 lift.

Lift access

The East Tower lift accesses the east side of Level 2 and above.

The West Tower lift accesses the west side of Level 2 and above.

Note: The East and West Towers are not connected above Level 1, so be mindful of which lift you take. One way to remember which side is east or west, is that Student Enquiries is in the West Tower, and the Student Hub is in the East Tower.

First Aid

If you ever need medical assistance or first aid, here are the key locations:

L5 Building: Student Services located on Level 1

Randwick Campus: Student Services located in Room 203

Blockhouse: Campus Security (Available across campus for emergencies)

With everything from quiet study spaces and social lounges to kitchen facilities, the L5 Building is designed to meet all your academic and personal needs. Whether you’re working on a project in the Student Hub, preparing a meal in the Common Room, or attending Study Club sessions, you’ll find the L5 Building a comfortable and convenient place to spend your day.

We encourage all students to make full use of these facilities to balance study and relaxation during your time at UNSW College.
