How long have you been at UNSW College?
I joined UNSW College in 2016 working on events and exams. I then moved into the Academic Services Team in 2019 before joining the Student Progress team at its inception in 2020.

My favourite thing about my job
Many things! Empowering students to improve their learning and seeing them gain confidence in themselves is very rewarding. What I enjoy most though is the supportive relationships I get to develop with our students and team members every day.  

Top tip for academic success
Spend time early in your program learning how to study. Consistent self-study is one of the most important tasks you can do to improve your chances of academic success. However, students will often put in hours of self-study time and see only a small improvement- this suggests that the study method you are using is not right for your learning style. You can do some online research on different study techniques (Pomodoro is a great general technique to start with), trial a few and see what works best for you!
